Anti-Hazing Policy

At Indiana University, hazing is strictly forbidden and has no place in the Sorority and Fraternity Community. The act of subjecting another person—physically, mentally, emotionally, or psychologically—to anything that may endanger, abuse, degrade, or intimidate the person as a condition of association with a group or organization—whether the person gives or withholds consent—is referred to as hazing. Sexual Violence

You are not to blame when you experience sexual misconduct. No matter the circumstances surrounded the instance, you are not to blame. You can make a big difference by speaking up and sharing your experience. You can contribute to making our campus and community safer for everyone, and you can also stop the person who hurt you from hurting anyone else. There are several support services at Indiana University that you can use to help report a sexual misconduct incident.

Care Referral

An easy way to ask for assistance with a problem or concern is through a Care Referral, particularly if you are unsure of which office or department to contact. You can submit a Care Referral for yourself or another IU student if you are worried about their safety and well-being.
